Tatton graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with an LLB in 2016. She was admitted as an attorney in 2019 thereafter completing her LLM in Labour Studies in 2023.
After completing her articles Tatton spent some time at a firm specialising in labour law. In 2020 she took up a position as an Associate in a Durban firm where she specialised in commercial law, being promoted to Partner in 2024. Tatton joined Garlicke & Bousfield’s Corporate & Commercial Department in 2025 as a Director.
In addition to having experience in a wide variety of commercial transactions, Tatton has experience in legal compliance, environmental law, competition law, mergers and acquisitions as well as tax and tax litigation. In all these areas she has gained valuable experience having advised a broad spectrum of clients with a strong commitment to excellence, strategic thinking, and client-focused solutions.
