Carla was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in 1999 and as a notary public in 2001. She joined Garlicke & Bousfield in 2001 as an associate and thereafter practiced as a senior associate in the Conveyancing & Property Department, until being appointed as a director in 2021. Carla is involved in all aspects of conveyancing work with an emphasis on development work including townships, sectional title and freehold development. Some of the developments Carla has been involved in include: Simbithi Eco-Estate, Somerset Valley Estate as well as the sectional title developments in the Gateway area, such as Horizon Views, Palm Gate and The Block. Carla is a member of the Women’s Property Network.
