André graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994 and after completing his articles with a Pietermaritzburg firm he was admitted as an attorney in 1997. He then practiced as a Commercial Litigation and Family Law director with a Pinetown based firm from 1999 until he joined Garlicke & Bousfield’s Litigation Department as a Director in 2012.

André has extensive experience in commercial litigation, property law, contract law, family law, dispute resolution and mediation. André is accredited with ADR and The Mediation Company.
