André graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 1994 and after completing his articles with a Pietermaritzburg firm he was admitted as an attorney in 1997. He then practiced as a Commercial Litigation and Family Law director with a Pinetown based firm from 1999 until he joined Garlicke & Bousfield’s Litigation Department as a Director in 2012.

André has extensive experience in commercial litigation, property law, contract law, family law, dispute resolution and mediation. André is accredited with ADR and The Mediation Company and is a panel member of both Conflict Dynamics and KZN Mediators.
