Anina Botha

Anina graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2014 and qualified as an accredited commercial mediator with Law@Work, University of Cape Town in 2015. She has also completed her coursework towards a Masters degree in International Trade Law at the University of Stellenbosch and the University of Leuven, Belgium. Anina was admitted as an attorney in 2016 and was appointed as an Associate at a Cape law firm becoming a Director in 2018.

Anina joined Garlicke & Bousfield’s Cape office as an Associate in 2025 and has wide-ranging experience in commercial litigation, administrative law, commercial contracts, insolvency law, employment and labour law, and is particularly interested in alternative dispute resolution, especially cross-border.

Anina is also a Director of Badgers Football Club NPC, a non-profit organization created and operated by women for women to learn how to play football in a safe and inclusive community.
