Anina graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2014 and qualified as an accredited commercial mediator with Law@Work, University of Cape Town in 2015.
Anina was admitted as an attorney in 2016 and worked at a Cape law firm before joining Garlicke & Bousfield’s Cape office as a Senior Associate in 2025 and being appointed as a Director in March 2026.
Anina has wide-ranging experience in dispute resolution, focusing on commercial litigation, arbitrations and mediations. She has a particular interest in resolving cross-border disputes and also specialises in commercial contracts, administrative law and insolvency law.
Anina is also a Director of Badgers Football Club NPC, a women-run football club in Cape Town dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive community where girls and women can learn, grow and enjoy football
