Aldine graduated with a Masters degree in Environmental Law from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and was admitted as an attorney in 1997. Aldine has over twenty years environmental law experience, and has become a seasoned expert in all environmental, planning and development legislation, including sustainable development law, industrial, institutional and private development and renewable and non-renewable resources.
Aldine began her own practice in 2004 and from 2014 – 2019 she consulted to local and global law firms. In 2011 she launched her own mediation and dispute resolution company dealing with disputes that can be resolved without formal litigation and court proceedings.
Aldine is accredited with The Arbitration Foundation of South Africa and TOKISO.
Aldine joined Garlicke in Bousfield as an Executive Consultant in September 2023 specialising in Environmental Law with a specific focus on increasing awareness of environmental needs and overcoming barriers to sustainable development.
