Aletta is an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public who joined Garlicke & Bousfield’s Property and Conveyancing Department as a Director in 2003. Aletta deals with all types of property matters, including commercial and industrial property transactions, servitudes, subdivisions and consolidations and general conveyancing. She specialises in property development work incorporating township, sectional title and freehold developments. Aletta’s involvement in these developments starts from the development planning stage right through to the opening of township and sectional title registers and the property transfers that follow therefrom.
With her wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding of development finance requirements and the conveyancing/development process as a whole, she is able to play an integral role as part of the developers’ professional team.
Aletta and her dedicated team of paralegals have been involved in numerous major developments that have changed the skyline of Durban, Umhlanga and the North Coast, such as The Spinnaker and other developments in the Point Waterfront Area, Riverhorse, The Bay, African Palms, The Zone, The Place, Le Boulevard, Summer Park, Pearls of Umhlanga, Oceans Umhlanga, Zimbali Coastal Resort, Simbithi Eco and Golf Course Estate and also Cotswold Downs and Cotswold Fens in Hillcrest, amongst others.
